Garden in a bottle

My Miniture Garden

I am 11 years old and made a garden in a bottle for a science experiment. We got a large bottle, put about 4 hand shovels of dirt in, planted small things from our garden like "peace-in-the-home", ferns and primulas.

Then we sealed the top and it made its own water cycle. It looks lovely.

It is an impressive way to explain children the phenomena of photosynthesis and water cycle etc. They definitely take interest in making miniature garden in a bottle and side by side learn different things about growing plants.

That is a very good idea to grow a garden in a bottle. In my childhood, I have also done such experiments as a part of my studies. It is a very good hobby for children to spend their time in home.
