Healthy Eating For Children

One of the main aims of growing our own food with kids, is to teach Healthy Eating for Children (and us!) by letting them do it for themselves, by experiement and give them not only a very useful life skill but a lot of pleasure, fun and feeling of success, in so doing!

So here is a Section for all of us who love producing healthy food from veggie patch to plate, in the full knowledge that it has been lovelingly and organically grown and will be as full as nuturants as is possible - not only that, it tastes far better too!

Some of our staple healthy eating for children recepies are taken (at least in part) straight from the garden, and we would love to share them with you here, but PLEASE also send us in your ideas and success stories to share with other keen gardeners, their offspring and their cooking pot!

So here goes, here is your opportunity to shine!

Have you had a from pot to plate success story with your children?

At Kiddiegardens we really want to help the youngsters to engage with the outdoors, especially the bit of outdours right outside their house or flat. One of our main aims is to encourage kids to grow their own food, as I am sure you too want to do ... there is nothing like the satisfaction of making up a complete salad freshly plucked from the veggie patch, or decorate a pizza base almost solely with fresh garden produce!
So let us hear and - if possible - see some of your wonderful creations and ideas for showing just how easy and tasty and Fun it is to grow veggies and flowers from the pot straight to the plate! :)

What do you call your new creation?
